Terms & Conditions - Event Flooring – Formerly Known as AU Carpet
Terms & Conditions of all Installations or Removals. (Any flooring Type)
We Require all areas for Installations and Removals must be cleared of Furniture, items and/or any other objects/or other suppliers that may interfere or delay the installers from completing in time. (This includes Sand/dirt/dust) and any liquids - space must be dry and clean) We require full clear access with Every job – this must be ensured by the person who’s confirmed the booking (by the Client). A Charge will apply, if the Crew/Installer becomes delayed due to clearing the space or if the site isn’t ready for the confirmed booked times/or installers.
We do Charge for Crew waiting around, an allowance of 30 minutes is given, however any delay longer than this will result in additional costs.
Wrong Size or Wrong Colour ordered:
Often customers order incorrect colours or sizes, we are happy to assist in most situations, although most jobs are precut depending on the flooring product in advance or ordered in for requests, we can sometimes find a solution to resolve these issues, although customers may come across extra charges for change of mind or incorrect information provided upon ordering stage.
Last Minute Changes:
We understand that last-minute changes can occur, especially in events. Depending on the urgency and scale of the request, additional costs may be incurred for extra crew or consumables required to accommodate these changes.
Plush Carpet Runner Hire Conditions:
No naked flame or cigarettes near the carpet. If candles are required, please use LED candles.
No food or drink on or near the carpet.
Please note: Fresh and dry flower petals on the carpet are strictly forbidden due to possible permanent staining. You can use fabric petals.
Note: to avoid damage, carpets cannot be placed on muddy ground or in any location where mud, tar, chewing gum etc. will be tracked onto the carpet.
No cutting or trimming of Plush runner carpets in any way.
For any damage to carpets, you will be charged the actual cost to repair or clean the carpet. If repair or cleaning is not possible, costs will be calculated on the replacement value.
Proceeding with the hire means you agree to these conditions.
Missing, Damaged or Lost Items:
Replacement costs will be charged depending on the product, this also applies if product is damaged.
If not found or returned within 1 week of due return/collection date.
Extended Hire:
Extended hire periods for any product will incur additional charges unless previously quoted for and agreed upon. Planning and adhering to the hire period can prevent unexpected expenses.
Cancellations Policy:
We understand that circumstances may arise where an event or order needs to be cancelled. Our policy regarding cancellations is as follows:
Advance Notice
If you provide us with sufficient prior notice of your cancellation, we will typically be able to accommodate this without any payment due. The required notice period will depend on the specific product or Event Date and details of order.
Last-Minute Cancellations:
In cases where the cancellation is made at the last minute, where not enough notice was provided to us, and we have already prepared the stock or started production of a custom-made product, we will not be able to offer a refund. In these instances, full payment will still be required.
This policy is in place because custom-made products and specific stock items are tailored specifically to your order, and we may not be able to repurpose or resell them.
Custom-Made Products:
For orders involving custom-made products, once production has begun, cancellation is not possible without incurring the full cost of the order. This is due to the bespoke nature of these items, which are created specifically for your needs.
